Taking a page from Democrats who disciplined Rep. Joe “You Lie” Wilson earlier this month, Republicans are seeking their own pound of flesh from a Democratic congressman who said Tuesday that the GOP wants Americans to “die quickly” if they get sick.

Rep. Alan Grayson,a first-term Democrat known for being provocative, made his comments on the House floor Tuesday night while criticizing Republican health care proposals.

Is Princess Pelosi willing to chastise her sheep the same as she did Republican Joe Wilson for speaking his mind? This comment from Grayson was meant to do nothing more than deflect attention from the disaster that the Democrats want to call a “Health Care Reform” bill.

This is the same bill (or bills) that wants the general US taxpayer to pay for abortions, provide insurance policies for illegal aliens, fine you up to $25,000 for not having health insurance - or spend a year in prison - and yet they can provide allow the State of Arkansas to provide $2.5 MILLION dollars from the stimulus package to the Bill Clinton Presidential Library (discussed in a previous post here). These are the same bills, from the same politicians, that want to “save” $500 BILLION from Medicare by killing off one of the more useful and efficient Medicare plans called Medicare Advantage.

This is the same bunch of politicians that want to help cover the cost of socialized medicine by pushing the financial responsibilities of Medicaid to the states but have decided to give Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) a little help for his re-election in 2010 by postponing any responsibility for those increases to state expenses. It

This is also the same crowd of crooks who, rather than try to actually pass the bill with bipartisan support, will try to pass it with a simple majority of 51 votes in the Senate because, even though they have 60 Dems in the Senate, they can’t even get support from all of their own party! They want to use the “nuclear option“.

Even though the tea parties are done for the month, these clowns didn’t seem to listen to their consitituents, and are planning on destroying the best health care on the planet, ANY WAY THEY CAN.

Do NOT stop with the phone calls, faxes, and emails to your reps and senators. Contact ALL of them. Contact Chuck Grassley, the ranking Republican in the Senate Finance Committee and let him know you support his actions to block all of this nonsense. Also let Max Baucus know you are not pleased with his party’s shenanigans!
